Well, money does have a habit of passing through my hands rather quickly! I was trying to avoid the other analogy, of financial exlax? Laughing Shocked Rolling Eyes

I would not call it bloated, no.

But I did give the stone to someone more understanding & receptive!

Well, yes, I have seen you on a crafter's version of a safari...and I'm certainly aware of my own lack of control when I get the design bug.

so I think there's never a problem with money flowing away from us..that's why it's important to have that anchor stone that's been blessed and is held in reserve for a future sale.

At least with your art and jamming you can be paid for your creations..I've never settled on one form of study,so I'm always a dabber.

That multi interest/lack of discipline is repeated in my exercise plans...I'm always learning about new techniques and not actually performing them.

But that's the nice thing about today..you can use it to start again, so there's never a need to declare yourself a failure...and what's life worth without a decadent chocolate cake once in a while?

or daily.

no,I don't really mean that.

well, I do but I understand there must be limits.

damn

Well, 3 weeks into the money charm. So far so good on giving & spending the stones & bills. Right on schedule.

So far have the funds flowing to pay for what I need... had an option of saving 8 hours of vacation pay, but said "I'll take it, thanks!" Rather have a full 40 hour week than 32 any day.

Oh, it's not been confirmed officially to my face, but I guess I've been bumped to at least 32 hours a week minimum. Cool.

Now when do I get official?

Heard it's supposed to be 38 here soon. Love rumours.

focusing on spending is part of the process,I guess..like watching caloric intake. Too bad it's not as easy gaining financial heft as it is body weight. Is there a money equivalent to chocolate?

wish I could drop to 40 hours...I get paid the same not matter what.

Maxie, I figure if I would add up my other things I do it would add up my hours rather quickly. After my 10 hour shift yesterday I went home & did 2 more hours of hot gluing sequins. Did not realize it was 12:00 until the music changed from Alice Coopers' radio show to '30 minutes of continuous music!'.... oh, I need to go to bed!

So I'm a little fuzzy this morning, oh, putting on the reading glasses helps I guess.

In checking out the trip potential I realized I need to get a passport - so I am encouraging the money flow to help with that as well. And with the trip itself, air fare, and a lttle extra spending money.

Was told by another who has traveled on cruise lines that when you get to port you go to a store & buy drinks (bottles of water or soda, whatever) to bring back on the ship - cheaper on land than on the boat! That is where the cruise lines pick up the extra funds is from folks who need to consume liquids... gee, that would be eevryone!

Ok, that is a good money saving clue!

There weren't any directions given as to how or where the money was to flow...love that your co worker thought of you, though.

while you're busy with glues etc..why not take a small poster board and make yourself a dream poster with all the aspects of the trip you wish to experience..with photos or sketches you could put in those fun umbrella drinks, plenty of dollar bills, luggage,Sylvia's books, print outs of the tour..might help you concentrate on where you want your money to take you..

I have to get a copy of the For Sale ad for the flea market building..Plan on making a huge SOLD sign to paste on it and maybe copies of a "check" stating what we get for it...

Thought is the first part of action..so why not make them BIG ones?

Great idea! I have some things I can slip from the tree oile into mine, and yes, I have started really noticing things, like which of my clothes will be great to take along, and my sandals are still good...

My desktop photo on the computer here at work is of a 3 palm tree atoll, with a trimaran, and the crystal blue waters & sky... realized I will be seeing this color of water down there... wonderful!

Thank you for the suggestion - if I see anything to contribute to yours, I'll send along, or just email along.

As to the other post about the contributions to my tre - that I'd wanted to place here? ... finally figured out it's also a matter of karma - you get back what you put out! Well, I've been putting out there this love of creating and giving, and sharing the experience, this is also a way to be recieving some of that giving spirit back.

I'm really pulling for you & Larry to get that wonderful sale to just come in out of the blue, and sail through all the paperwork - have you out, free & clear by next January, 2011, of all the problems, money worries, financial issues - all cleared up, paid for & see you on your first travelling vacations!

Don't know why but that date just came through - double checked the feeling, it said "yup".

As to the Amerindea site I mentioned...

Want to report that I did look up this site and for novices like myself it is very welcoming and instructive

for those who've had the opportunity to study under masters for long periods of time,it might not be for you but I found it open to only positive intentions and very gentle.

laughs Well, OK! I'll mark that on my calender and tell Larry to hang on a little longer!!!

Glad I checked back in on this thread!!!

Now that's just what came through for everything to be off the radar - doesn't mean the first one won't start for you tomorrow... I'm not as precise as other folks can be, just know that some things get my attentions, and when I double check, it reiterates the information.

I honestly don't know if this is from infused knowledge or just a guess. Don't take it as set in stone, but perhaps keep it in the back of your mind for goals? Some date to shoot for having a clean slate?

I like it.
