Even though there are stone stores in your area you need to check out (for fun) the Amerindea.com site and EmilysGems.com
the prices are good..lots of variety..even got a nicely priced tumbled emerald at Amerindea..fun to find out she lives in West Virginia..practically neighbors.
AT EmilysGems there are great pieces of jewelry, pendants, carved pieces,wands..
Also Heart of Maui.com has some nice chakra sets..that's where I got my Lemuria seed and some Herkimer diamonds..I met Skye, the owner at a flea market on Maui and she is very nice..has a profile on Facebook..
oohh thought of another place...the Pyramid Collection has some great gemstone jewelry...pieces of gemstone with smaller ones inlaid (actually onlaid is more accurate) and attatched is a lobster claw so you can hang it on a belt,a chain,a zipper...each has a significant meaning for reflection. |

I just found the website I had used for the Mythical tree - Bernadine Fine Art Jewelry, out of Cincinatti. Check it out! Loads of photos, clear & varied information on everything from gemstones to dinosaur bones!
I did check the other, but not so much there as at Bernadine's. Nice closeups of the stones! Will keep them in mind too! _________________ Friends are the family you choose! |

hmmm...something weird going on...I tried to pull up the Amerindea site again to check on some things..even went through the crystal-cure.com site where I first learned of her and now the site can't be found..
don't know if it's down for maintenance or what..I had received a nice note of welcome just last week..
glad I used Pay Pal for my payment..
anyway the stones I received are nice..wanted more from the site... |

Thanks Weesa, I love that site. The one that Maxie was looking for was different though. Not sure where the other went. _________________ Friends are the family you choose! |

I checked out the Bernadine site..you're right, there are some beautiful pieces there...my wish list is ridiculous!
the other one I mentioned,,the amerindea site had all sorts of articles, lessons, spells and spell kits..all interesting and reasonable..the service was immediate,,
I not only received a welcome note online but a quick response to an email I sent upon receiving my stones...and then the site was not recognized by Google..nor any other search engine.. very strange and disappointing.
I've searched some other sites but some are weird and the best one seems to be out of Australia and that means a long shipping time for items.
Guess I'll be happy with what I have... |

Oops sorry looked at the wrong one. I did a google search on amerindea.com and it appears that they are no longer in existance. I found several links to the site and none of them worked. _________________

Did you happen to get a phone number in that order? Maybe you could call them and see what's up with the site. It's very strange that it's there one day gone the next. _________________

I got a reply today..apparently there were gremlins that were bothering the site..she said it was finally fixed...haven't tried it yet.
Obviously even those adept at magik can't control the internet!!! |

Ok went to the site it's nice that the gremlins are gone. I especially like the amethyst pendulum. Will have to look at my rock collection as I think some of them may have been listed, not sure without looking first. _________________

I keep my stones in a crystal bowl by my bed..I like knowing I have precious and semiprecious treasure at my fingerstips.
I love the feel of tumbled stones but after awhile all the green ones look alike..I get shades of aventurine and moss agate confused..I love amethyst.
I haven't tried putting a piece of it in a cocktail to see if it prevents me from getting drunk..but I do love all those lovely shades of purple. |

I was able to pick up a few more stones at a local "magical garden' type store - have them resting in seasalt on a windowsill for the moon cycle to come round for cleansing. I know there was a clear one, and variety of green to purple - but now I can't recall what I bought - will be fun plucking them back out of the bowl in another couple of weeks to see what I have! _________________ Friends are the family you choose! |
