Hmmm, don't know about envy - other than I'm upright? I am including you in my healing thoughts and meditations about Hecate - I think you could benefit from some good vibes my dear.
If I can keep my minimum step days around 3000 I figure that's better than what it was. Morgan's meter was on 15,000+ her first full day with it! That's barn work & at Joann's. She's not sure what she will have to do to loose weight. She understands that she has built muscle in working with the horses & such, but can't seem to loose anything around her middle.
Uphill battle with both her parents genetics. We are large folks, big bones, heavy muscles. She would have to change her diet more, but difficult on her budget. Oh, and her hours are being cut back at work, slowing down after the holidays. Not the barn, still working 5 days a week there.
Not sure if I actually have that challenge buddy, or if it was just me interested - haven't heard back from Tall Man. Ooops. Mebe I pushed harder than I thought? Mebe he's busy? Mebe he doesn't think I was serious? Meh. I will keep on truckin'. _________________ Friends are the family you choose!

Well, the steps, the buddy, yeah, nothing has come through as I was hoping for. Was doing good for a while with walking, but schedules, energy level, and weather have all plagued me.
Going in for a gastro look see next Wednesday to see what's going on in there, why I can't swallow pills & stuff without it getting stuck.
I'm still sending healing thoughts to Hecate, Jeff Cheeser Guillaume, and anyone who needs it! The Haitians & Chilleans from their earthquakes... _________________ Friends are the family you choose!

Hope the check up goes well Karentia.
I know what you mean about being plagued by weather. The weather here has been absolutely maddening. It's supposed to be warm here this time of year and it's been cold then a little warm then back cold and rainy. ugh! If I was able to go out and exercise I wouldn't have any motivation to do so with all that.
On topic though I have lost 10 pounds since November. Not sure how I managed that with the holidays but I'm not complaining. _________________

Wow! Weesa unconscious weight loss.. that's great.
Maybe not paying too much attention to food has you eating less?
I know if I start a program that involves the weighing and measure of food that's all I think about..and I'm not someone who really likes eating unless I'm out with family.
I've been working out by climbing up and down ladders scraping wall paper..I was afraid it'd set off a flare but so far so good! And I think my legs are more toned!! I know at the end of the day I'm exhausted!
I'll let you know if I find that home repair is another weight loss solution.

I watch a ton of food network shows so I don't think I'm not paying attention to food. But I did start cooking differently last year. I bake the
majority of meats. Hamburgers are done on one of those George Foreman grills (or outside weather permitting. Vegetables have been increased too. I've also started eating on a more regular schedule. I never did eat very large portions but my Mom says she noticed that I don't eat as much at dinner as I used to. I don't think about losing
weight at all so maybe that helps. I am careful not to get sucked into all
the junk food that gets bought or made. We had so many sweets during the holidays and I just didn't let myself over do it, the kids ate most of it. We even sent some to my brother's work just to get it out of the house.
If I'm lucky the loss will continue, I'd like to lose a lot more.
Maxecat house work and gardening/yardwork are my Mom's exercise regimen, not that she really needs one at 110 lbs., but it helps her stay
active and I'm sure it helps with her high cholesteral.
Sorry Karentia, I didn't mean for anyone to find it, it was supposed to go into oblivion where it would no longer be a nuisance. _________________

*snort* You know Weesa, it didn't really find me - but it is funny how it does sometimes work that way where someone loses a good amount, and another has seemed to find it!
I try to see the humor in everything!
Just need to get off my fanny & move more!
I'm very happy that you have found an easy way to eat healthier! It would be nice if I could eat more fruits and veggies, but they just don't agree (allergies) anymore. _________________ Friends are the family you choose!
